The problem
A customer types in your store’s search bar, doesn’t see what they’re looking for and leaves. It may be a typo, a word your catalog names differently or a product you don’t sell, and without a record of those searches you can’t tell which of the three it is. If nobody reviews them, they fail again tomorrow. Do you know what your customers search for today and don’t find?
The solution
Zeyvro Smart Search shows products, suggestions and categories while the customer types, and records the searches made through the autocomplete. In the Back Office panel you see which ones return zero results and, from that same list, you create a synonym or a redirect so the next search finds something. When the customer presses Enter or the search button, they land on PrestaShop’s usual results page: the module doesn’t replace it.
What’s included
- Autocomplete with products, search suggestions and related categories, plus category, brand and price filters and sorting by relevance, price or newest inside the dropdown.
- Synonyms for a whole phrase or a single word (for example, “laptop” → “notebook, portable”), switched on or off from the panel.
- Term-to-URL redirects: whoever types “offers” in the search bar goes straight to your offers page, with a click counter per redirect.
- Blacklist of terms that must not show results in the dropdown, with an optional reason.
- Zero-result search rescue: if several words together find nothing, it tries dropping the one that doesn’t match and says so; if a word doesn’t exist in your catalog, it suggests “Did you mean…?” with real terms.
- Analytics panel: total searches, unique terms, searches today, no-results rate, average results, % of searches with a click, daily chart and top 20 searches.
- Searches with no results from the last 90 days, with a button to create the synonym or the redirect for each one.
- Placement of your choice: standard PrestaShop hooks, Panda / SunnyToo theme hooks or both, without the search bar showing up twice.
- Popular terms and recent searches when the search bar opens, voice search if the browser supports it and an interface in English and Spanish.
- Self-renewing cache when you save or delete products, update categories or save synonyms, redirects or settings; uninstalling keeps your data.
How it works
- Install the module by uploading the ZIP in Modules → Module Manager; “Smart Search” appears in the Zeyvro menu of the Back Office.
- Set placement and limits: where the search bar is rendered, how many characters trigger a search and how many products and suggestions are shown.
- Fix what fails: review the searches with no results and solve them with a synonym, a redirect or a block.

When you don’t need it
If your store runs PrestaShop 1.7 or earlier: the module requires PrestaShop 8.0 or later. If you want to change the results page, it won’t do that either: pressing Enter uses PrestaShop’s native search, and synonyms, redirects and the blacklist only work in the dropdown. If you expect recommended products when there are no results, there aren’t any: the module suggests a correction when it finds one and shows popular categories. If you sell in a currency other than the euro, note that dropdown prices are shown with a decimal comma and a fixed “€”. And if you need to know how many sales each search brings, the panel records searches and product clicks, not orders. We’d rather tell you before you buy.

Does it replace the PrestaShop results page?
No. Zeyvro Smart Search works in the search bar dropdown: autocomplete, synonyms, redirects and blacklist. When the customer presses Enter or the search button, they land on PrestaShop’s native search page, unchanged.
Does it work with my theme?
Zeyvro Smart Search hooks into the standard PrestaShop hooks (displayTop, displayNav1, displayNav2 and displayNavFullWidth) and into the Panda / SunnyToo theme hooks. If your theme calls any of them, the search bar appears there, depending on the placement you choose in the settings; with the “Both” option it is rendered only once.
What does it do when a search returns no results?
Zeyvro Smart Search tries before giving up: with several words, it tries dropping the one that doesn’t match and says so; if a word doesn’t exist in your catalog, it suggests “Did you mean…?”. If it still finds nothing, it shows popular categories and the search appears in the panel so you can fix it.
Which PrestaShop and PHP versions does it need?
Zeyvro Smart Search requires PrestaShop 8.0 or later and PHP 8.1 or later. Version 1.5.7 is tested on PrestaShop 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 9.0 and 9.1.
Which languages does it include?
Zeyvro Smart Search ships with the interface in English and Spanish. Any other language can be translated from International → Translations in the Back Office, and voice search uses the page language.
Are there fees or license activation?

Can I get a refund?
