The problem

A customer lands on a product page ready to buy, and stops right before checkout over a question your store doesn’t answer: when will this arrive? Without a concrete date, that uncertainty often gets resolved by closing the tab — especially if they’re comparing against a store that does answer it. A real date, calculated from your actual stock and cut-off time, removes that doubt on the same page where it comes up.

Benefits

  • A real date, not a generic promise. Calculates the exact delivery day based on your daily order cut-off time, skipping weekends and the holidays you define.
  • Adapts to the product’s real status. Three distinct messages depending on stock (fast delivery), backorder (slower delivery) or out of stock — each with its own day range.
  • Shows up where it matters. Product page, category listings, search results and homepage — not just one spot.
  • You customize it without touching CSS. Color, border, padding, font size, bold and icon — all configurable separately for each of the three states (fast/slow/out of stock) from the back office.
  • Natural-language dates. “Monday, July 14th”, not a technical ISO format.
  • Configuration survives an accidental uninstall — you get it back if you reinstall.

How it works

  1. Install. Upload the ZIP from Modules → Module Manager. It activates with sensible defaults already set (4pm cut-off, 1-2 days in stock, 3-5 days on backorder).
  2. Configure (optional). Set your cut-off time, add your holidays, and if you want, change the text, icons and colors for each of the three states — all from the back office, no code involved.
  3. Done. The message appears automatically under the buy button on the product page, and on category/search/homepage if you enable those toggles. All the calculation happens in PHP on the server — no JavaScript dependency, no slowdown.

The module doesn’t have its own screenshots yet — in the meantime, you can see the rest of the Zeyvro catalog running live at demo.zeyvro.com.

Features

  • 100% server-side (PHP) calculation, no JavaScript dependency.
  • 3 independently configurable states: fast (in stock), slow (backorder), out of stock.
  • 3 surfaces you can toggle separately: product page, category listings, search results and homepage.
  • Text, icons, colors (background/border/text), bold, font size, border radius and width, and padding — all editable per state from the BO.
  • Configurable daily cut-off time and a holiday list in YYYY-MM-DD format.
  • Compatible with products with combinations (the state is inherited from the parent product).
  • Auto-updates when you upload a new ZIP via the BO, no manual steps.
  • Preservative uninstall: your configuration isn’t deleted if you reinstall.

Comparison

Most “delivery time” themes and plugins show a static label — “2-3 business days” for the whole catalog, regardless of whether the product is in stock or what day it is. Zeyvro Delivery Date calculates the real date every time: it cross-references your cut-off time, that specific product’s stock status, and the holidays you’ve defined, and returns an actual day — not a generic range copy-pasted across every product page.

When you don’t need it

  • If all your products have the same fixed delivery time and you already state it another way (e.g. in your CMS copy or theme) — the module doesn’t add much if it doesn’t vary by stock.
  • If your store doesn’t manage stock/backorder differently — the “fast vs slow” message loses its point if everything is treated the same.
  • If you’d rather not show estimated delivery dates for business-policy reasons (avoiding committing to a specific day).

If your delivery time changes depending on stock and you want customers to see that clearly before they buy, it pays off here — and it’s free.

FAQ

Is it compatible with my PrestaShop version?
Yes, PrestaShop 8.0 and 9 (up to 9.99.99).
Is it really free?
Yes, no license system and no paid tier.
How does it calculate the delivery date?
From your configurable daily cut-off time and a min/max day range per state (fast or slow), skipping weekends and the holidays you add.
What happens if the product is out of stock?
A third state is shown with its own icon and text (e.g. “Out of stock — Check availability”), with no date.
Where does the date show up?
On the product page, category listings, search results and the homepage — each one can be toggled on or off separately.
Can I change the colors and text?
Yes, all of it — background/border/text colors, bold, icons, font size and the text for each state, for all three cases (fast/slow/out of stock) separately.
What happens if I uninstall the module?
Your configuration (colors, text, holidays) is preserved — if you reinstall, you get it back.
