The problem: getting store data out to n8n

Building an n8n automation starts with the most fragile part: making the store notify n8n, reliably and securely, every time something happens. PrestaShop has no outbound webhooks out of the box: for n8n to hear about an order you have to code the request, sign it and make sure it arrives.

The usual result: hours fighting signatures, incomplete payloads and events that never arrive, in the one part that adds nothing to your business.

💡

The solution: the store sends every event, signed, to your workflow

n8n Connector captures your store’s key events and sends them to your workflow’s webhook URL with an HMAC signature and a normalised payload. And the other way round: n8n can call the store to update stock, change an order’s status, create a customer or look up an order.

No endpoint to code

Paste your n8n webhook URL and choose the events. The module does the rest.

Signed by default

Every request carries its HMAC signature so n8n can check it comes from your store.

📋What’s included: from the store to n8n

  • 8 outbound events: new order, order status change, new customer, updated customer, new product, updated product, stock change and cart.
  • HMAC signature in the X-Zeyvro-Signature header and an optional static token in X-Webhook-Token.
  • Per-event toggles: turn on only what you need, no noise.
  • Any URL: self-hosted n8n or n8n Cloud.
  • Configurable retries if the endpoint doesn’t respond.
  • Send log with the HTTP code of each request and a button to resend failed ones from the back office.
  • «Send test webhook» button showing the real HTTP code your n8n returns.

🔁And from n8n to the store: 4 actions

The module includes an inbound webhook protected by an HMAC secret. From an n8n workflow you can ask the store to:

  • update_stock: update a product’s stock.
  • update_order_status: change an order’s status, with its history.
  • create_customer: create a customer, with the same name checks as PrestaShop.
  • get_order: look up an order’s data.

Every request received is logged in the back office, next to the outbound ones.

⏱️If n8n doesn’t respond

Each event is sent when it happens, within the same request: the order one, when the order is confirmed. If n8n doesn’t respond, the store waits at most 8 seconds per attempt and carries on; the order is confirmed anyway. The failed request stays in the log and you can resend it from the back office. That’s why your n8n should answer fast: with the Webhook node’s «Immediately» response, it replies as soon as it receives the event.

🖥️How it works (3 steps)

1

Install the module from Modules → Upload a module, with no keys or activation, and paste your n8n workflow’s webhook URL.

2

Choose the events you want to send and, optionally, a token. Click «Send test webhook» and see the HTTP code n8n returns.

3

Build the automation in n8n with every event already signed and normalised. If you want n8n to act on the store, use the inbound webhook.

⭐Why Zeyvro

  • It does exactly what it says. This page was written against the module’s code and the tests of each version.
  • Uninstalling doesn’t lose your data: it keeps the log of sent and received requests and your settings, in case you reinstall.
  • Updating means uploading the new ZIP on top, without uninstalling.
  • Tested on PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.1: 8.0.5, 8.1.7, 8.2.6, 9.0.0 and 9.1.3, with PHP 8.1 to 8.4.

When you don’t need it (we’ll say it plainly)

  • If your volume is low or you’ll only build one or two very simple workflows: a manual export is probably enough.
  • If you already have your own infrastructure that exports orders in the format you need.
  • If your store isn’t PrestaShop: the module is for PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.1 only.

If any of these is you, save your money. If you want n8n to know right away what happens in your store, that’s when the module makes sense.

❓Frequently asked questions

How do I connect PrestaShop to n8n?

PrestaShop has no outbound webhooks out of the box, so n8n doesn’t find out on its own what happens in the store. There are two ways: have n8n poll the PrestaShop API every so often (the data arrives late) or have the store notify n8n as it happens. With n8n Connector: create a Webhook node in your n8n workflow, copy its URL, paste it into the module, choose the events and click «Send test webhook» to see the HTTP code n8n returns.

What can I automate between PrestaShop and n8n?

Anything that starts with a store event: send every order to your ERP or spreadsheet, get an email or WhatsApp alert when stock runs low, add new customers to your CRM or react to a cart. And the other way round, n8n can update stock, change an order’s status, create a customer or look up an order in the store.

Does it work with n8n Cloud and with self-hosted n8n?

Yes. The module sends to whatever URL you give it, so it works the same with self-hosted n8n and with n8n Cloud. The automation logic lives in your n8n.

Does the module include n8n?

No. The module connects the store to your n8n; you provide n8n, on your own server or on n8n Cloud, under its own terms.

Is it secure?

Every request is signed with HMAC in the X-Zeyvro-Signature header and, optionally, a static token in X-Webhook-Token, so n8n can check the event comes from your store. The inbound webhook only accepts requests signed with your secret.

What happens if n8n doesn’t respond?

The order is confirmed anyway. The request is made when the order is confirmed and, if n8n doesn’t respond, the store waits at most 8 seconds per attempt before carrying on. The failed request stays in the log with its error and you can resend it from the back office. Automatic retries are configured in the module.

Which PrestaShop versions does it work with?

It’s tested on PrestaShop 8.0.5, 8.1.7, 8.2.6, 9.0.0 and 9.1.3, with PHP 8.1 to 8.4, and declares compatibility from 8.0.0 to 9.1.3. Not yet compatible with 9.2.

Do I need an activation key?

No. Install the module and it works: no key, no activation.

Do I lose my data when updating or uninstalling?

No. To update, upload the new ZIP on top from Modules → Upload a module. When you uninstall, the module removes its hooks and its menu tab but keeps the log tables (sent and received requests) and its 14 settings, in case you reinstall.

Are there monthly fees?

No. It’s a one-time payment of €89, with updates included.

Can I get a refund?

As a downloadable digital product, there’s no right of withdrawal once downloaded. If you have any questions, email us at hola@zeyvro.com before buying.
